Job Summary

We are seeking dedicated, reliable, and compassionate caregivers to provide personalized, hands-on care to clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, and support clients in maintaining their independence while ensuring their safety and well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
  • Provide mobility assistance, including transferring, positioning, and helping clients move safely around their homes.
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
  • Administer medications as directed and ensure proper documentation (if certified).
  • Provide companionship and engage clients in conversation, hobbies, and recreational activities.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, cleaning, and organizing the home.
  • Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social outings.
  • Monitor and report changes in clients’ health, behavior, or overall well-being to the care coordinator or supervisor.
  • Follow care plans tailored to each client’s specific needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including infection control and proper use of protective equipment.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Previous experience as a caregiver, CNA, or home health aide is a plus but not required.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor with a passion for helping others.
  • Ability to lift and assist clients with mobility when needed.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (preferred).
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
